Holiday Project M&T

Me and my partner I think did a fairly good job on this project because we worked together and kept our time organized, all the time that was givin to us we used wisely. I wish we edited our video more because it dragged a little when we made our clip one long summary, in other videos I like how it drew attention by clips transitiong every now and then. I also like how in Ryans clip they edited the music, In some spots the music was louder, it made the effect of the video interesting. To create our groups video we had to look up several backgrounds to see which one would fit in most, we also had to save the citations for the credits at the end, we didnt want a background that was boring and didnt explain what holiday we were talking about. We spent alot of time looking for music because we couldnt find any interesting Japanese music, the thing about our video that i am most disappointed about our is how the music makes children want to go to sleep it doesnt draw your attention, if I could go back I would definitely fix the boring music. My partner helped me when i didnt know something, and I helped my partner edit the video. If I could do this project differently i would definitely make it more interesting, i would edit the film into more sections, change the music, and add some more information and creativeness. I think I would also make the transitioning more interesting, like maybe pretend im talking to her on the phone. All i all i learned alot about greenscreens and editing. I now know how to add in music and effects to videos, doing this project was fun and effective, great job teaching us Dr. Achterman!

Greenscreen workshop

Once you start your green screen recording you need the green screen in the background. Once done filming, upload it to premiere pro and start editing, with a green screen you can put whatever background you desire. Before you put the background, you have to make the greenscreen black but using the editing panel. And then insert that background. Some important considerations would be to position yourself on set to fit in with the background. Some problems me and my partner came about were trying to make us look visible with the background because if you edit it to much you, it will make you transparent or you'll have a part of you missing. Adobe Premeiere Pro was easier because it gave you a variety of effects to do, and it was pretty self-explanatory. All in all the powerpoint instructions helped alot with creating the green screen.

Cyberbullying Final video

What parts of your video are you most satisfied with and proud of?
I am most satisfied with how we made the video like a newscast and the angles we did in the beginning with dillon gave a great angle.
What comments from others were helpful to you in creating your final draft?
I like how people critized our video and wasn't putting only what we want to here, some comments said that the end, the wheel barrowing clip was to long and should be cut also the part where i am talking to fast, one other comment was that the credit should be black and she should make our message more clear because didnt make it as seriosu as it should of been.
What changes did you actually make on your final video?
We made a couple of changes that hopefully made the video more interesting, to make it look longer we put in some pictures to make it clearer in the next scene, so people would get the point. We also put music into clips that didn't have any sound. we also changed the spelling error on my name.
What changes would you make if you had another day or two?
I would put another clip in there like another interview or us explaining and portraying the effects of cyberbullying.
If you had the chance to do the project all over again, what would you do differently?
I would talk alot slower to make it clear, and make it serious yet still a way to draw in the viewer, one thing for sure is making the video longer.
What realizations, discoveries, and understandings did you reach about creating videos?
I discovered that angles make a great impact and transitioning plays a big rolde form clip to clip, also the music in the background should fit the mood of th clip.
What other thoughts do you have about your own project?
I think we did a failr good job of our video only i would change some stuff to perfect it, we didnt succeed in everything we wanted, next time i would to be more creative by getting other opinions or make filimg outside of school to make the film more extravagent.

TitleTemplate_Hernandez

This is an example of a template title, which means you chose the template of your like and put in the beginning as your title, just like the title you created in the first project but for this, the program has already made a template for you already and your just inserting what you want in it. You might use this when the video you are making needs a title and introductary.

Title2Overlay_Hernandez

For this video all i had to do was go back to my orignial title project, cut the title from the beginning and create a one thirds overlay title. To do that i had to go to titles, new titles, and based on template, then it takes you to all of the templates you can do, such as themes like buisness and law but if you scroll drown there will be one specifically for lower thirds title. I chose the one I wanted and edited what I wanted in it. I will probably use this for the our video on some clips.

Titles Workshop

In this workshop I had to create a title for the beginnning, it wasn't so hard, all I did was follow the directions. To create a title you go under title, select new title, and default title, there it will take you to edit your title to whatever you want it to be. You might use this kind of title when you are creating a video, almost every video needs a title or else it will look off, i am going to use this in our video that we are creating for class.

Lifting And Extracting

This project was a little difficult for some reasons, mainly because i used the wrong instructions and I found out later that I shouldn't being using them, I had to do an over view of the powerpoint. Once i read the powerpoint and intructions it was much easier for me, after I did everything I had to made sure it was eported under fv4 and then I uploaded it to my youtube account embedded it and wala here it is !
I think I did a pretty swell job. I might use this when there is a part ofthe video I want to extract out, maybe a clip of the video you dont want in there.

Inserts and Overlays

This is an example of an insert, which mean you have inserted a portion of aclip and put it inbewteen the other clip. To do this you go to clip and choose insert. I decided to insert the third clip where i did because it fit perfectly and looks good. The difference between an insert and overlay edit it that an insert is a clip that you put between a clip and an overlay is a clip that lays over another clip

Reflection:
I did this video alone, and in the process of creating this video, i have gotten a lot better at Premiere Pro, i now understand where everything is, big thanks to Mr.Achterman. He helped me a lot by showing me where everything was and from there, it became so much easier for me to creat this video. I think i am getting better at making videos because i have a better understanding of the Program. On my next project, i need to remember how to uplaod a video to Youtube then transferthe video to my blog. I'm happy with the way i get things clearer!

San Benito High School Teledramatic Art: Thinking about Values and Video

San Benito High School Teledramatic Art: Thinking about Values and Video:

Patience might seem like it wont get you very far but having a good attitude and taking a moment to think about what happened, patience is your best virtue. Just think to yourself, "It could be worse",  there are many ways you can get through things. Key idea is to never give up and have a positive attitude. Patience can make your life not only better but much easier.

Wet Cement

Message of the video is being courteous takes you a long ways, the guy was putting in new cement and he saw the little kid walking in it like anoy other curious kid would do and the generous man helped him out.
